I have the suggestions for Petersen's in Wisconsin, and Jacks, Inc. in Phoenix.

Has anyone had their Pinz jack repaired in Las Vegas? I can get there easily rather than shipping the jack.

I was in Vegas today and checked out a couple - both are out of business. The Jack Shop at 2909 E. Lake Mead Blvd, LV and Las Vegas Hydraulic & Rebuild at 3780 Civic Center Dr., North LV are no longer in business, in case anyone else is looking for one in Las Vegas.

I called Jacks, Inc. in Phoenix and they are still in business and can repair Pinz jacks. I'll be taking mine there.

we have had several rebuilt by Jacks Inc. They do some good work. Last time there they even had a large poster of a Unimog with the same jack (missing the rounded bottom of course).

I took mine down to Jacks, Inc. Dropped it off Tuesday about 3:00 p.m. and picked it up all done the next morning at 10:30 a.m. It's a small mom & pop shop in an old house in downtown Phoenix, pretty cool old setting with tons of "stuff" everywhere. He immediately recognized it as a Weber. Replaced some seals and honed some rust off of the ram. Before it was very hard to depress the ram and get it out from under the axle. Now the top axle support rod swivels freely. No leaks and he said it holds good. I asked him if I need to be careful not to tighten the valve too tight, and he said no, it's a really good jack. So he knows his stuff. $95 and it's all re-conditioned.

Although it involved trip and hotel cost (Holiday Inn on 6th downtown is very close), it also provided a wonderful trip down scenic Hwy 93 through abundant Seguaro and Joshua Tree forests and boulder piles that I'd never taken before. Best scenery was between Wikieup and Wickenburg. It's called the Joshua Tree Parkway of Arizona.

Confirming again that Jacks, Inc. in Phoenix is a legit Pinz jack repair shop!

Thanks for the report. I bet that means they will do G-wagen and the Land Rover jacks; they are all similar.

Thanks for the timely tip. I jacked up my Pinz yesterday and discovered it won't hold pressure any longer. I've had it rebuilt twice with limited success, so will give this place try. I'm sure shipping will be a drag but I need a working jack

Since you're shipping, other people on the forum have used Petersen's in Wisconsin successfully - another choice.

I didn't want to ship so I found the closest place to me. Don't know how either one handles shipping.
