Good day,

Tryed to get in touch with you, yet have not got an answer. Could you please send your contact details? I wanted to purchase the conversion kit for 712 Petrol Pinzgauer. Can you ship it to Kazakhstan?

Best regards,

Im installing the disc kit this weekend and Im running into some issues with the items he sent vs. what the instructions say I should have. 15" lines labeled "@ caliper" when diagram shows 12" lines. Some of the allen head bolts for adapter plates are longer than others, no fittings for mounting brake lines to the calipers (instructions showed them and I was able to source same locally) and the instructions I received do not have any info for installing the rear brakes and plumbing.

I can order the correct size lines and bolts if necessary but I would like to have some documentation on the rear brake install. Does anyone have the instructions for the rear? I ordered fairly early and did not get the revised instructions.....dont know if he even ever finished those or not. Any help would be appreciated.

Contact Andre at Fatfab, he's done a number of these conversions
and also made some simplification mods. Good luck!

Good to know. I'm heading to rockwall TX on the 29th and I'm going to run over to Andres to pick up some tank/battery box guards he made for me. I'll pick his brain on the conversion when I see him!

Its such a shame that Chris just disappeared from this forum, his phone and email.
Such a great kit but lacking the last few details to make it seamless.
I have not stated to install my kit but get more and more nervous with each post as I was hoping it would be bolt-on and go vs trying to guess which bolt and hose to use. I don't want to start to then have my truck unusable for weeks while I try to guess parts on my braking system!
Disappointed to say the least but as I have said in the past (in this thread)... something is not right! Not sure if he's sick, moved or passed but something weird is up!

apologies for my blunt approach

is there no member of this forum living in the vicinity of the address posted on klugewerks.com ?
"drive by, knock on the door and say hello" would be my solution to this open question.

I also considered this kit for my truck.
Current plans will get me to Seattle around Easter week, so unless this topic is solved by then I will head out into the wilderness, look and report back
Cheers
Albert

I live about an hour away and have been to his shop a number of times. I've also tried calling/texting him multiple times over the summer. I haven't had any luck finding him. At this point I think something has happened to him. Sadly I don't know his family so I'm not able to verify that with certainty. I don't expect that we will hear from him again

Do you have the instructions for the rear brakes or did you do fronts only?
