Installing new Master Brake Cylinder

Just knew something would go wrong.
After installing master, I was connecting the brake lines and stripped part # 7101364671, plug adapter M10x1/M12x1x24.
TRICK to all future installers.
Attach lines to Master BEFORE attaching Master to the brake booster.
Need new part now.
SAV? $19.50
Any other suggestions?
Thought about trying to rethread but it's brass.
Thx

Do you mean the adapter fitting under the residual pressure valve #33.2?

I think I've always done it after the master was fully installed and connected to the booster. Which side stripped?

Not sure how you would attach the lines to the cylinder before attaching the master to the booster since the brake lines are hard and not very movable...

BTW - did you "bench bleed" the new master cylinder before installing it?
