Hello I have a question. I have a 1975 pinz 710k and I need a brake master cylinder or (rebuild kit) and brake light switch. My master weeps down face of booster out of weep hole and my brake light switch sticks on after a few pedel applications. Anyone know of a cross reference for parts at local napa ect? Also is the fluid dot 3? I know these can be bought at CWR & SAV ect but I was hoping to find locally. Thanks guys

DOT 3 is good.
DOT 4 has a higher temperature rating, not needed for these buggies.
Don't use DOT 5 !!

Your not going to find a kit or replacement Master from NAPA :(

Best bet is SAV or EI. I'd recommend getting a brand new one.
Though they are easy to rebuild. The surprise you might encounter
is corrosion on the inside, then it's a different game getting that
sleeved with SS or tossing in the barrel. Save the old then
rebuild later, if good internals then you now have a spare.

I second just getting a new master. When I went to rebuild mine the bolt that hold the two halves together was busted. Of course no replacement available so had to buy as whole unit
Brake light switch is just a VW brake light switch. Take with you tell them vw brake switch and they will match it only three variations for vw and one is very obviously the one. About $8 right now
