Brake Bleed Debris
Brake Bleed Debris
During my annual brake bleeding, I saw some fine red particles came through the bleed hose from the drivers front wheel cylinder. After about five pumps the fluid ran clear. Nothing like this came out of the other wheel cylinders. The particles looked like the flakes of red death you get from the fuel tank, but much finer and not nearly as much; maybe 0.1 grams, and smaller than grains of sand. Is this a sign of something deteriorating in the cylinder?
