Pinz Rims: Bolt pattern and rim specs?

Does anyone know the Pinz rim bolt pattern: is it 5 x 190mm (7.48")?
Also what are the stock rim specs? 16" x 6.5" x ? offset/backspacing ?
Thanks,

The stock rim has a 5 bolt pattern, but I'm not sure the spacing.
Backspace is 7 inches. The only correctly backspaced wheel
you will find is the Hummer wheels, but they have a different bolt
pattern. There are companies who will make adapter plates, but I
do not recommend those. There are also companies who will weld
the center into whatever steel wheel you want, but that damages
your original wheels. GT Inc. (Tom Cepek at hummerproducts.com)
makes a Pinzgauer-specific wheel, but it isn't cheap. But I'm selling
my steel OEM wheels to help offset the cost.

Really just looking for stock spec's at this point
Cepek rims at $500 each is silly to be honest - I can have custom one off wheel's made for that kind of $

Actually, I checked it out. To have custom wheels
made from scratch, of the quality and engineering
of the GT wheels, you'd be paying more. Like I said,
the price ain't cheap, but more often than not, you get
what you pay for. Btw, I've got some steel OEM rims
for sale. :)

Hmmm... Not sure why I thought they were 190mm!?!
And yes I should have clarified I was asking about the 710/712 models not the TD's that run 5x130mm bolt pattern like a G.
Anyone care to confirm the 160mm (not that I don't believe waterdog!)

Offset anyone?

5x160 is what I had mine done at.

So, what is the center hole diameter for the 710/712 wheel? I know the bolt hole is 5x160 but, need the center hole size.

Thanks,

Phil

Phil,
I believe the rims are lug-centric, not hub centric, so the center hole is not exact nor critical. Measure your old wheels and use that dimension.

Lug centric. The hub hole could be off and thus
not the place to balance your tire, EI used to have
a loaner pool of adapters Pinz lug to a true hub hole.

My spare rim is definitely eccentric, but the running
four rims I got lucky and the hub is within ~1.0mm of
the lugs.

Thanks for the reply. I know the center hole is not very important but, still need the size. I actually have a 718 so, can't exactly use my measurements. I am trying to get this info for a friend who is getting set up as a dealer for Hutchinson. He is trying to cater to Pinzes and other "odd" vehicles. He can get the 716/718 wheels for about $450 each and wants to get a deal on the 710/712 Pinz wheels. Obviously, the more ordered the more the price drops...

Anwho, if someone would be kind enough to post the center hole size, that would be great!

Thanks,
Phil

All the times I've watched the balancing of my rims from the central hole, every one appears to visually spin true. But on the last set of tires I put on my 712, I bought a tub of the heavier Airsoft pellets, divided them up into seven baggies, and had the tire shop put a baggie's worth of pellets in each tire. Now no worries about balance, without paying the tire shop to get it wrong.

I measured the center hole to be 100mm.

Thanks, Jim! If anyone else would care to measure as well, I would appreciate the input. I do not doubt Jim's figures, just would like to get an average and go with the larger size...

Been balancing the tires on the pinz with those for 6 years now. Only issue is that I can't put in the tire fixer goop as it would clump up and be an off balance issue.
