Thanks guys, I chose to powdercoat the wheel and rattle can the rings so they are easy to touch up after rock rash. Having the rings anodized looks great but screws you when they get beat up. Have a few more things Andre is working on that will finish it off.

Thanks Andre! I dont have any rocky trail runs for a month or so on the side cages. The rear 2" hitch and the front winch plate you built are AWESOME PIECES! Top notch fab work. Heres a shot of the front winch plate.

Wow that looks great!
Nice truck that your making even better! PM me if you ever think of selling
That's the winch I am getting, which model did you go for the 8s or 10s? I am thinking of relocating the top control box to slim it down a bit.
Is that a gas fume scented air freshener :P

Its the 24v 10K. Similar price and weight as the 8k and I had the Syn rope from a prior rock crawl project. The power and ground wires are the perfect length to tag the starter stud and the engine ground strap stud....super simple install. I have sourced the bits for the windshield to lay it down and will be relocating the top piece if it crashes into my plan.

I'm incredibly envious! What's the exact model of your winch?

Its a Warm 90665 10k no cable or rope. You can relocate the center upper control behind the grille with a seperate kit.

Ive been on the fence lately wishing I had bought a 712M I had my eye on. In the end, I think I drive the 710 more as a 3 day a week daily when I know im making parts runs for work and can show it off at the local vendors. Plus being a less massive looking rig than a 712 allows my wife to WANT to drive it which makes things waaaaaaay easier in the long run. Im hoping to stay in love with the Pinz, keep this one as hers and the dog rig then sell my soul, become Daves slave and buy the Green Grail as a 6x keeper.

Newfisher,
You might sell your soul and become a slave, but you'd be no closer to being in the driver seat of GG... your wife would be there first AND probably the one that sold your soul in the first place. :P

Try starting off small, buy her a Cat
