Try starting off small, buy her a Cat
She has one, a couple dogs and 4 fish tanks. Maybe her, my soul and a little slave work? You would have to take the animals too.

Please vote - black and tan or tan and black...

Post by GadgetPhreak »

So I called Trailready (I had no idea they were in Washington, pretty close to where I live... crazy) and they are able to drill their rims to work on the Mercedes ML rotors I have on my rig (5 on 112 bolt pattern).

The question is, do I go go Desert Tan rims with Black beadlock ring (I like because it allows me to rattle can the beadlocks since they are the part that gets banged up) or Black rims with Desert Tan beadlock rings (which I think will look better).

What do you think..?

I'm working on a photo shop of both approaches to help with the decision, but thought I'd get additional opinions as well.

Branden

Here's a pic of my rig for reference:

You can get Desert Tan semi-flat in a rattle can too. Home Depot, Lowes etc carry it.

Great looking rig!

Great suggestion! Not sure why I didn't think of that, tired from too much travel I guess ;-)

Here are some mock-ups of each color option:

Black beadlock rings will be almost invisible from a distance. My vote goest to black rims with tan beadlocks.

Just put the Transit rims on recently. Looking pretty good.

Those look great! Glad to see it all worked out. I think that the wheels are about 1/2 of an inch farther out?

(BTW - These are not the same as the US transit van steel rims - these are from a supplier in Germany and have round holes and more of them - the USA version has an oval hole and fewer of them - but other than that they have the same dimensions if I remember correctly)

Those do look good. Other than the bolt pattern, they could pass for TD rims. But I am prejudice toward TDs :D

And when this thread opened for me, it was on the pic of GadgetPhreak's Pinz... almost thought it was the Pink Cow.! Deja vu all over again
