Does anybody have a nice/easy solution for locking the exterior tool box and/or battery box? A small combination lock would be ideal, but I can't seem to find anything in the correct size.

I use some rubberized exterior padlock, just have to check the brand. had to remove the rubber sleeve off of the hasp, but otherwise fits perfect.

The smaller Abus lock fits, but may require a little beveling of the holes on some of the 710/12s. It was already done on the TDs

That is a nice lock and helps stop bolt cutters as the shank is covered up!

The Abus were German made and commonly used on some vehicles. Plus they don't rattle around and beat on the paint of the box like normal padlocks do.
IIRC, they are the medium size (24/60). The large Abus are common but way too big and you'll destroy the levers and tab trying to make them work

Lesson learned -- Cover your key holes with painters tape.
Keeps the mud and crud out. I had to cut two locks due to
the cement type mud @ Death Valley.

These brass Masterlock's fit perfectly. No rattle, shackle is completely covered. It's like they are made for it. Good idea about covering the key hole!

I removed the levers, drilled them out a bit larger and used Master locks (kit of three with same key) for the tool, battery box and petrol can.
