710K Hard top removal

I have decided to remove the hard top as there are several areas of water ingress when it rains!
I can get to all the bolts and nuts around the sides but the only area of greatest concern is the joint at top of screen to hard top!
The heads in the grove about the screen are well rusted so i have two options, 1/ remove screen still attached or 2/ cut the bolts somehow.
is there a lip at the front of the hardtop or is it flush? If you understand what I mean?
Is it just a rubber seal between the front of hard top and screen?

Has anyone a photo of the front Lip or has done this job that could give me the info please? :((

I got it off took about 2 hours to get the small bolts that hold the hard to to screen out!!

Sorry, I just now saw this. I have removed the top and discussed it in this past thread:

Happy to try to answer any questions.

I,m .coming in a bit late here...just doing mine...all come off OK...my nuts above the screen were all stainless and not one was seized, plus every year I have owned it I have sprayed all of these nuts with WD 40 or alike, because I knew I would have to do it one day. I don't have extensive rust anywhere except in the bottom strip where the top joins the bottom...all of the bottom is OK except for one small bit of the rear lower door top lip will be a bit pitted after cleaned up. My problem is that the roof panel has seperated from the cross rails and slight surface rust has got in there.....I could put in a ton of rust proofer and wax oil then drill and use small bolts to hold it all together...with glue as original.......or drill out all of the spot welds and take off the whole roof panel...clear out the rust completely then bolt it back in place and weld again then clean up the welds..long job..I know.......what have you done if you have any of this separation? mine is a 1971 710K.
