Horn Mounting

Post by SAM. C. »

Hi All

I have replaced all of my sound deadening (with Megasorber) In doing so I took the horn off. Now I have finished the job I couldn’t remember exactly how it went back but I have bolted the 3 springy strips to the back of the horn and at the bottom to the angle bracket. Trouble is the horn tilts forward a lot. I can see no obvious way to mount it differently and I really don’t want to start bending stuff.

Got any ideas? Even a picture would be great.

Thanks

Sam

I mounted mine in place of the convoy light, so it faces directly the hole in the front grille. I had to build (big word for the work involved) a small "adapter" from a small flat piece of steel to get the correct height. No need to touch the electric wiring as it is just next to the original emplacement.

Hope it helps...
