For folks who have added interior dome lights, what have you used?
I’m looking for something that will add lighting to Mark von T’s pinz for the cab and bed area.
An LED based red/white light would be preferred.

Re: Interior lights
Take a look at the offerings from this company: https://www.superbrightleds.com
I've used quite a few products from them for all kinds of projects. They have a fair selection of 24V items and lots of 12V.

Re: Interior lights
This is what I put over the cargo area in my Gwagen. It's the most common police car dome light used country-wide. It puts out a ton of light and is well proven. Mine had LEDs for the red but a regular bulb for the white so I just bought a white LED bulb replacement and it's perfect now although I find I use the red setting 90% of the time. At night it doesn't hurt your eyes and still lights up fairly well. The lens is fully frosted so the light scatters 180. Not sure about 24v abilities but if not, a resistor would be easy.

Re: Interior lights
Got me curious, so I looked SounoffSignal up on their WEB site.
Looks like they have moved to all LED and 10V-30V. Apparently
was available on Amazon, the P/N claims to be all LED.

I saw Vince's G with the RED LED on, pretty effective.

Re: Interior lights
I found one of the newer all LED SoundOffSignal cop dome lights at a great price online. The white is beight enough and very diffuse. The red is much brighter than expected. Bright enough to do paperwork which is something they claim.rmel wrote: ↑Wed Oct 31, 2018 10:04 am Got me curious, so I looked SounoffSignal up on their WEB site.

Re: Interior lights
Another option to consider is LED strip lighting. Pics below are from my cargo area, but would be effective in the cab as well. The relatively inexpensive WenTop LEDs that I used can be found here on Amazon. Mine are wired directly to 24v, but they can alternatively be run from this AA LED battery pack, also on Amazon.
