as a new owner of a 710K, i'm slowly putting things right with it and have a question about the felt strips that go on the window sliders. I've seen windows with the outside piece forward and the felt on the rear of that piece, and I've seen them with the felt on the front of the rear slider, which was on the inside of the track. i'ld like to know which way is correct and best to keep rain out. thanks in advance for any advice.

By "felt" I presume you are referring to the channel edging felt. See PIX attached.
It goes on the front edge of the inside window that slides forward inside the cab.
The pane in on the inside so that driving forward rain won't come in -- obviously.
The channel felt is on that pane of glass to provide separation from the two panes
to prevent the handle pan head screws from scrapping on the outside glass as well
as providing a weather seal.
