Fuel tank dip stick

Fuel gauges are fine, but a dipstick is a reliable way to get a very accurate tank measurement. It's the accepted way used by aircraft.

So...I measured the tank, and came up with calibration marks for a dipstick such as a 1/4 dowel rod inserted where the gas cap goes, and accounting for the angle. The rod I used is just long enough to stop at the top edge of the fill port, and the the bottom is kept tucked toward the outside.

Spreadsheet is here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing for those wanting to check my work, but I came up with 19.7gal which is pretty close to the 19.8gal expected.
