Re: Swiss Flag Decal
Yup...I just called and spoke with a very nice lady. They don't have any currently, but they are going to resume production. I was given permission to post their address.....ssears @ woh DOT rr DOT com.cowetadirtfarmer wrote:Try calling. That is how I contacted them! Im a do-it-yourself kinda guy and i got the metal plate, (that i could have easily made myself) from SA for historical purposes, and masked it off and painted it myself. Im curious how it'll stand up to the elements over time but i guess ill find out. It looks great, and still gets confused with a medical symbol frequently.

Re: Swiss Flag Decal
I just left a message with Tom and Shella re: Swiss Pinz sign. I am looking for one if someone has one available. I will post what I find with Metall Werks when they respond.
EDIT:
Looks like Andre is reproducing them as decals or with the plates pre drilled. Here is the thread:

Re: Swiss Flag Decal
Always wondered if the Decal should read "Schweizer Armee" or "Armée Suisse",
sure it ain't "Swiss Army" to be proper

Re: Swiss Flag Decal
I had given my (Swiss) take on it a few years ago, you can basically take your pick: http://real4x4forums.com/PinzgauerBBS/v ... 760#p61760rmel wrote:Always wondered if the Decal should read "Schweizer Armee" or "Armée Suisse",

Switzerland has 4 national (of which 3 official) languages...

The Swiss army calls itself "Schweizerische Armee" in German

Re: Swiss Flag Decal
Well spotted!! As the Swiss army website shows "Schweizer Armee" (http://www.vtg.admin.ch/internet/vtg/de/home.html), I digged a bit further: it turns out it was officially called "Schweizerische Armee" until 2003 when it became "Schweizer Armee" (from the wiki page in German: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schweizer_Armee)Hotzenplotz wrote:Nearly correctrmel wrote:Always wondered if the Decal should read "Schweizer Armee" or "Armée Suisse",

I think the best version is "Armada svizra" in Rhaeto-Romance, which is the 4th national language of Switzerland (but not an official language), only spoken by about 60'000 people in the eastern-most part of the country, near the border with Austria.
