Window Gasket/seal for door side windows

Post by captxmas »

Greetings all,

Does anyone have a source for the channeled window bar/gasket with the furry edge that seals the split between the sliding windows on the doors. Looks like the type used in early volkswagon van windows.

EI has not had them for aboout a year and Scott wasn't happy with the material provided by a supplier he deals with from the US.

Ideas?

If you are referring to the window channel itself, SAV has it here:

The felt wipe strip that goes on the edge of one window is here:

Both items are pricey but I haven't found any alternate products that work.

Thanks for your reply. I am looking for the wipe strips and hoping someone has a source for these other than SAV. They're great folks but they currenty carry an after market product cut to length with a pair of dykes. Not up to snuff. Definately not OEM or equivilent.
INventory is always a challeng. They're great folks but this time I was disapointed in product. I not bashing...really.

Anyone find a suitable alternitive for the 7111761188/07? For all 4 doors on my K the window channel material alone is almost $300. That and they are out of stock currently...
