Ray at www.tuffriverstuff.com was awesome. The transaction went smooth, the product he makes blows anything on the market today and though a little pricey, you can't beat the quality and durabilty. The cab has gotten a lot less nosier which is really good. Now I don't have to scream at the misses.

Ordered the following: Back Top, Elephant Ears & Curtain only.

Olive Drab material is now in stock by Tuff River. Mine is the first one made in OD color by him. This is also a fire-retarded material just incase I decide to do a BBQ inside the cab ;) LOL

This took us a few hours to do as I have a custom fiberglass top over the cab which needed to be removed. The rest was easy. You need basic tools including a crimper. He provides all new rings, crimps and 45feet of new rubber which is slight bit thicker than the factory top.

The set up I have is that I can do a mesh window to allow air flow or a clear marine grade plastic incase I want light. Pic below.

The adjustable strap system when you roll up the top is so convenient. No more hand cramps trying to hook the top.

The components were all black - black straps, black loops, black grommets etc.

Note: The windows are largers than factory. 4 large removable (plastic or mesh) windows on both sides as there's plenty of air flow.

Recommendation: Order 2 or 3 extra hooks and crimps just incase you mess up on the crimping while adjusting the rubber rope/straps like I did.

Delivery time: 3 weeks approx.

Here are the pics of the process:

Your new top looks great!

It reminds me that I have still not posted pictures of the top Ray produced for my 710 already a year ago... there is always something missing on my truck to allow for good pictures (tires first, now wood rails...)

Ray is a great guy to deal with and his production is top notch. :D

I do like your front hardtop with the 710k-like hatch, too!

Thank you all :) Warmer and quieter in the cab. I recently installed a 24 V el cheapo heater before the new top and the heater never worked well. It now works like a charm. That insulated top is the only way to go especially in cold regions.

Ray is still river rafting and isn't back. I gotta call and thank him.

Pete, pm sent.

Blue Point Toasted Larger would be my choice ! LOL ;) See you soon.

your color looks different here (which I like) than the MFG website. Is it the lighting or are that different?

Where did you get your front hardtop? EI or home made?

Thanks
KT

I'll have to get ahold of this fellow and see if I can get a curtain only. That would really warm up the cab and stay within my budget.......
