What clamps should i get for 3/8" solid rubber core rop

What clamps should i get for 3/8" solid rubber core rop
I'm replacing the cord on my 710. Knowing that im using the clamps to couple what is essentially two 3/8" diameter cords together, Do i get a size smaller than 3/4? Would 1/2" fit?
