Trick to installing rubber door stops?

I thought this would be a quick fix to my rattling front doors, but I can't get these to fit in the hole. What's the trick?

I don't know what type SAV sells, but there are a couple of methods. depending on how the stop was made. I am assuming that these have the pointed 'arrowhead' with a shoulder. A lot of US type stops have a hole opposite the point for a small blunt punch to go into and you just push them in ( they stretch the point until it snaps into place). Others require the use of a small srcewdriver to push the shoulder into the hole, working around the perimeter until seated

Good question. I've bought some myself because they were missing but haven't installed them. My driver's door used to rattle, but a friend bent it to shape.

David, they sell the ones with the hole in the them and I used various size allen wrenches as punches to push, but the big ones didn't allow enough room to flex and the small ones were poking through the rubber.

With the hole, you push them in, try some soapy water on the rubber, they'll usually slip in, but still not uncommon to poke through. Then use the other method, and use a small screwdriver to push the shoulder through.... these are the same type of bumper stops used on metal door frames and on sliding doors... it's not about brute force, but finesse
