Glove box light switch?

After doing some electrical repair last weekend I have realized that my Pinz has a light next to the gove box. That's great, however for the life of me I can't seem to locate the switch to turn it off! I've been using the battery disconnect Where is the on off switch?

Flip the cover of the light itself, it sort of rolls up, and turns on the light.

^ IIRK, as the metal lid rolls upward, it makes contact with the dashboard housing and thus closes the circuit.

Thanks! I had noticed the "door" but didn't try and close it all the way . I'll get that sorted out when I get home.

It is actually called a map light. For the co-driver to read the map.

I eventually taped over the map light cover/switch to prevent it from ever turning on. You won't notice that it's on unless it's dark and I never run my trucks at night. Usually.

Would it not be easier to just take the bulb out?
