Machine Gun Mount

Post by Tibbermore »

Does anyone out there have any detailed photographs or drawings of the machine gun mounting arrangement on the 712M in the photo?

Search for Austrian MG74. This close-up view looks like it is Pinz mounted-

Here's a surplus MG42 mount for sale, which is similar, but not the same-

Thanks for the photo and info. I assume there must be some form of subframe bolted to the roll cage or a pedestal mount into the bed of the truck immediately behind cab divider screen. Any one have any photos and drawings of the arrangement used?

Thanks

I bet it is a simple clamp mount on the roll bar.

I just ran across this one, and it does look like the mount clamps to the roll bar. You probably roll the tarp forward and then clamp on the MG mount.
