or make a clamp
Pep Boys $5.92 each
Edit forgot to add a link http://www.pepboys.com/product/details/1194119/01036/
Sorry if i riled the guy up I thought he had a good idea, my point was there are other ways to mount the same mirror and a less expensive source.
Sure knows how to send some nasty PM's.

Dude the lower one of the two mirrors is the same mirror you used. Cheaper local source. The upper mirror came from Scott at E.I.

Re: Mirror replacement - looks almost like factory
He's not being negative.. He's being a realist.
$6.. $13.. $44. All seem pretty cheap for a mirror (to me.)
Every day I order mirrors for late model trucks, and if (even aftermarket) cost less than $100, you are ahead of the game. You ever price out a current F150 mirror with heat, power and power telescope? Ug.
So, Pinz710m2, if you like that mirror set-up, good on ya. You saved $31.
Edzz likes the fact that he can see down the side of his truck, and it cost $6. When he rips it off on a branch, no problem.

Childish post from a self described 50 year old.Pinz710m2 wrote:Thanks Cascade King. Edzz is a self-described
newbie (I checked before responding to him) and
the majority of his posts are stupid, misdirected,
or negative. He asks for help reading the label on
his windshield, and then suggested I go buy a $400
generator to check and see if a $200 heater works
before I try it. He posts unnecessary comments
and hasn't made a single constructive comment that
I could find. I sent him a PM explaining that some
of us want to retain the factory look and feel to our
Pinzies, but he seems to think he saved enough
cash to make it a value. But, he sees fit to keep
posting. So, I apologize for the negative tone of this
back-and-forth thing. I know no one wants to read it,
but the guy was aiming his negativity at me one too
many times. Sorry.

I'm glad you felt so mature as to add something constructive.
In every forum there are always some outspoken jerks who
try to fight with everyone. I will remember not to post anymore
on this forum. Already too many jerks.

Y'all make me laugh. I own a small business that sells Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghini parts. (http://www.ricambiamerica.com) We have individual bolts that run $200, small silicone rubber hoses for $300, and side-view mirrors that approach $3K. Pinzgauer parts are so insanely cheap there's zero reason (IMHO) to even shop around, unless the original part is actually inferior to some kind of aftermarket unit. Moreover, the folks at EI and SAV that I've dealt with are super easy to work with, and add a lot to the Pinzgauer community. I'm interested in supporting the professionals who support our tiny little community.
And yes, I consider myself a wet-behind-the-ears newbie. I drive my 710m daily, here in North Carolina.

My feeling exactly...cascade.king wrote:Seriously.
I'm always amazed when someone who joined 2 weeks ago gets all aggravated and starts to call other forum users names, when the latter have gotten along everybody just fine for years...

Hey ... f*ck you guys. I posted a sincere post that showed
how to get a mirror that is almost identical to the factory ones.
It does;t really matter what it cost. And for the idiot who thinks
he's all cool because he drives Ferraris ... what a moron. Been
there, done that idiot. You might want to find out more about the
person you're insulting before you insult him.
What a bunch of F-ing morons.
