Interesting body configuration. Not sure of application but do like the fold down sides.

Re: 712 FAL
Interesting.
Maybe a remote fish and chip van
My Oman spec came with a similar folding side, but only 2 seats worth at the front drivers side.

That's what the Pinz looked like WITH the ant-aircraft gun....
The folded-down sides extened the platform the crew worked on..
Cheers

Re: 712 FAL
The platform in that last pic is a body insert into the basic 712T, and removable, unlike the pic Scott posted of just the side rails folding . I was offered one of the weapon platform trucks back in '02 when I was looking for a 712M. A couple years later, one of those inserts was being sold by itself, I assumed to make a 712M out of the truck. IIRC, the body inserts only had 4 jump seats, one at each corner, and none of the typical Pinz roll bars and very unique soft top.
Edit:
I just located this folder of pics712FAL with the 'newer' folding sides. notice the rear corners of the truck has fixed rails that stiffen the corners for the use of the standard rollbar

They look very similar to what the 716M/718M used for palatalized load handling.
