Found this recently: replica of a m416 in powder coated steel, but with tailgate.

I like mine better. It's got all the swiss goodies and still has a tail gate.

Its not the size but the length that matters

FYI, a US M101 and a Canadian M101 are not the same trailer.
The OP is about a US M101.
Berger's link is to a Canadian M101, which is very similar to a US M416.
In my opinion
the M-416/Canadian M101 trailers look better with a Pinz than a Swiss trailer, because I think the angularity of the fenders is somewhat more reminiscent of the Pinz body. But that's just me.

These pictures remind me of this topic here a year ago. When commenting on a trailer behind a 712, someone asked:
"is there not enough room for the swimming pool and bowling alley back there?"

It sure is nice to go to the campsite drop the trailer full of camping gear for a group and go off roading without the gear being packed in the back with your passengers as the whole idea is enjoyment.
I'm not that good at searching kiji and 12 hours driving round trip is a bit far to get a trailer plus I don't speak french. Though if I had the time I would do it as the M101CDN2 are great trailers. I had one with my old FJ40 but sold it to buy my Unimog. The lights I just put on my M416 came from my M101CDN2.

The M101 and the M416 are both good trailers for the pinz. The M101 is a bit narrower than the M416, I think, about 3 inches. Only know this
as a friend that had the M101 and I the M416 were comparing them on a trip when it was discovered the tire I had as a spare for my pinz would
not fit under his trailer like it did on mine. Also he made a cover for his out of one sheet of plywood and I could not get one sheet to work for mine.
48 inches for the M101 vs 51 inches for the M416.
