aftermarket hi temp duct hose as furnace exhaust?

I have a small rv furnace that I'm replacing with a larger. I was considering using the RV furnace in the 712m with a small propane tank. It's that or scrap it.
Furnace manufacturers are very clear that one is not to modify the intake and exhaust. I want to modify the intake and exhaust . I was considering the use of hi temp silicone reinforced hose from McMaster, basically the same stuff we use as our aftermarket ducting. Intake is 2". Exhaust is 1.5"
Beyond the risk of collapse, what risks do you forsee?
