I added a TRX7 for the Pinzgauers for use offroad. I currently have a Garmin Montana 650 and a Garmin Zuomo 595 for my adventure and dirt bikes. Great units for bikes, but I thought I would give the almost tablet sized TRx a go for the trucks.

The menus are easy to follow and very user friendly. Navigating through makes sense and all items are easy to find.

Keyboard is big when up and very accurate, no lag between keystrokes.

The resolution looks good, the 3d map is a little odd looking relative to others I have used, and it does have downloadable satellite imagery available for a yearly subscription.
Street navigator is ok....nothing special but it will get you to the trail.

The best feature is the search function that you can choose from a variety of criteria. search trails nearby or by name, tracks, routes etc.

The TRX trailhead allows users to load their tracks from adventures so they show on all the units, sorta like WAZE in the sense that its user populated. The search trails nearby showed tons...and I mean tons of trails I have never heard of or seen plus all the major local trails. Some just .3 mile dirt roads but they were listed everywhere and its fun trying to find out where they are....pass so many daily and never knew.

You can also search for ohv attractions and get lists of all the offroad parks around you. Its cool because when you see them and the distance away I'm like " that's a lot closer than I thought...need to check that out".

I'll post up more once Ive used it in depth.

You can go to trxtrailhead and sign up and see what the maps show around your area without a purchase.

Compared to my Garmin zuomo 595
