Black zinc hardware?

I do a lot of hardware runs locally, and order various oddball hardware often but haven't seen much availability of the more common nuts/bolts/washers with a Black Zinc coating, but I ran into some the other day at a local hardware store and thought I'd give the washers a try. I've read there can be a finish color change over time so Ill watch for that. Anyone used much of this stuff?
