Looks like the conversion is coming along very nicely. I just noticed that you are planning to put your lithium batteries on the floor near the transmission access plate. I have noticed that cargo on the floor in that area gets quite hot from the proximity to the exhaust, heater, etc.. You may find some insulation to be necessary or even relocation of the batteries. I would hate to not mention it and hear that something unpleasant happened. Good luck with the project! -Cheers!

Same weight as the tarp and structure I removed, so net weight gain = 0 :D

Thanks for pointing this out.
The floor is insulated around the battery. And I planned for a ventilation of the electric box (which connects to the battery box) so I can remove excess heat. I see my battery can handle discharge up to 60C. But good to know. I'll probably build an extra air gap. Thanks.
