I know Tim can make just about anything you want. I am sure if you contact him he will work with you. He does his mods based on the individual owners desires. The rear tire/jerry can holder has been made with and without the jerry can holders and one was done with three jerry cans and three tool boxes.

Both are mine. The issue of opening from the inside are easily conqered with the correct door hardware provided you use an existing penetration on the truck. Look at door hardware in the mcmaster-carr catalog.

I'm looking into a CAD program to do the draw up. I think I want to do it out of round bar much like my front bumper. Also want to some what match the factory setup as far as looks go.

I've felt like building a tube rack that drops down and acts as a ladder as well as spare tire and jerry can rack. just needs the right recoil to keep the weight down and assists with lifting it back up.

I have recently ordered one of these which mike builds to fit. I may be the first one to have one built for a pinzgauer and once i get it and install it i will post pictures and a review. It looks very functional .

I've often stated that finding something close to what you want and spending minimal time fitting it up is much cheaper than a full custom build. It just depends on how closely it matches up to the Vehicle.
Ive seen guys spend $600 on an accessory and spend another $450 to get it to fit up and function.
For another $200. they could have gotten exactly what they wanted, built to the truck, installed and powdercoated to match the truck.
That last $200 may be the deal breaker when it comes to budget.
