I like the rubber "pushers" you have, but I think I would get in trouble if I had them!

what kind of lights are they and how can we find them? i recently installed 2 10'' led light bars from rigid industries lighting and they are too bright to use on the road, unless your trying to make the vehicle in front of you spontaneously combust lol. 8)

@ comfort dental...mine were surplus military hummer units however the manufacturer is trucklite and you can purchase them through one of their retailers for 500 per light. Occasionally you may find them for sale on ebay used and the next purchase will be the light bar you mentioned for night time backwoods excursions!

The best price I've seen for the 24V units is $435 each. Where did you find them for under $500 a pair? I see the 12V units for $476 a pair.

I may get another set at under $500. 8)

Lighthouse here in Denver has them for $239/ea. They are 9-36V; no dicking around with V-drop resisters. My only problem is loose connections at the lighting relay.

The 12v units are cheaper and not specified for a military application as far as I am aware of. I have also seen LED 24volt accessory lights used by the military that are similar in size, shape, and configuration but these are not headlights and are on one setting all the time no hi-low beam.

If you are installing these and want to have a easy replacement in the field with a spare the Military wire connectors can be purchased from here:

http://www.willysjeepparts.com/Wiring_C.htm

Best prices around, not the fastest service and odd billing, but honest. They bill the item cost and then bill the shipping cost after they ship it, very resonable shipping at cost.

I purchased the "CONNECTOR, WATERPROOF, MALE, 14 GAUGE WIRE" at $1.25 each you need 6 total, I got a few extras just in case. Came to $10.00 for 8 connectors plus $3.00 for shipping.

Once they are installed I just plug the new LED in, no stripping and crimping in the dark.
