Hoping for a little assistance here. I was fortunate enough to buy a benmar heater from a board member but beyond the service and parts manual, I'm lacking any further information. Would anyone with experience mind helping me out? I'll need to recreate the control box and I'm not sure what's needed, which pin goes to what, and the operating procedure to get it to light.
I'm dangerous right now

Ok, so I've got everything but the heater control switch understood. How did you folks wire the 3 position switch?

Hardly an expert here but, if you look up the Webasto site, you'll get a good picture of what you want.
Here is what is needed to put together the controls:
1. a digital timer switch (often here on ebay for $25 to $30 new free ship) to run the glow pin and overall heater running time,
2. a regular 5 pin relay to run with the flame detector (we will call this the motor holding relay),
3. another 5 pin relay to run the fuel valve,
4. .03 amp breaker for the overheat switch
5. 15 amp main breaker
6. "unit on" light
7. little plastic or metal box to install it in
Then go on Youtube and you'll see some demo's
Hope that helps

Re: Benmar multi fuel heater install
Got her installed and it seems to work great. It's a bit stinky though. I need to make sure of no noxious gases but it's pretty darn warm!
