Major modification of a Pinz. At what point is it no longer considered a "Pinzgauer"?

I recognize that camber! .... I hate to see anything trashed or modded too bad...but that thing is sweet.

Sounds like a pinz! That's. Pretty crazy

The best thing about the Pinz is the chassis/4x4 system - for serious competition off-roading they are a little cumbersome and top-heavy. If you've wrecked the body on one, then this thing looks like a great toy!

Here in Poland due to starvation by the communists, there is a long tradition of making your own mini tractor from old truck axles and any engine/gearbox - sometimes more than one gearbox.....I suspect that had there been Pinzgauer tubes and axles available here, then they would have been ideal candidates....they would make an excellent forestry tractor/skidder...if I have a rollover/body crushing accident with mine, then it will become a tractor.
