OK, I think I understand that and I'll look for more info before doing anything on the amp. Still can't find the camera... Dang kids!

Here are some quick pictures. The more detailed ones will follow when I pull it apart to install the subwoofer.

Nice job!

I like the judicious use (recycling?) of the 'non-Cuban' cigar box!!

Sigh...up here in Canada I can't have automatic weapons....but at least I have unrestricted access to some mighty fine cigars!!

Meant in the best possible way, and to quote a Monty Python movie- "You luckyy, luckyy baastard" :D I wish I had cuban cigars hidden in the little compartment.

OK, so if you copy this box, here are some tips- make it out of 1/2" ply to gain some interior room, leave about a 1/4" clear space to the seats so that you can still flip them up and down, and use the 4 big bolts in the bulkhead to hold the thing in place in case you tip over. The teeny little subwoofer is now in place and it helps with the sound, but isn't too "thumpy". Here are some pictures of the backside too, so you can see where the snorkel goes.

Spiffy! Can you post a picture of how you ran the snorkel through the bulkhead and into the intake?

Thanks,

I think the snorkel was posted before. Mine uses the factory 716 piece for the intake, then runs back and down through a hole in the bulkhead. The aircleaner is rotated so the intake points backwards and the flappy preheater is removed. Bernhard's is nicer actually- http://www.real4x4forums.com/PinzgauerB ... it=snorkel

I really like the idea of this amp board, so I think I am going to go this route for my truck. While checking out the website (parts-express) and the AMP board, I found this barrel plug...(it is rated up to 24v)

Parts-express confirmed that it will fit the AMP power source plug. Now my question is, do you guys see any advantage to it...rather than screwing the wires directly to the AMP board? I was just thinking it would be easier for removal etc....

Why are you contemplating removing it...to install in a secondary vehicle? I would think that once it is in you're done.
