Build projects, things that guys have come up with to make a Pinz better (or worse?) and aftermarket add-ons.

GPS Speedo

Post by berger »

I know guys have had issues with some aftermarket VDO dash speedometer gauges and others just use their GPS for speed....now you can get both in one! :D They don't seem to come in the 3 5/8 size 710/712 owners need, but I am sure you could make it work...(antenna included)

Nice option, now do you get the 40 MPH or the 60 MPH max?

But how will you know if you're speeding after an EMP goes off?

Actually, pretty cool.

Same price as a stock speedo but with the ability to not have satellite hook up. Just like my GPS does now when it can't
find the signal or I go through a long tunnel or I am in the deep woods. Hmmm.

Unfortunately SAV is out of stock for speedos at the moment.

Radar guns won't work after the EMP either

Of all my worries in owning a pinz...a radar gun never entered my mind.

And the 80 mph top speed of the 3 3/8" unit seems a bit more realistic too!

If a big EMP goes off, you might want a REAL gun instead of a radar gun! (not to mention the Zombies...)

What!?! Another Zombie-hijacked post!

Look, just because you're being facetious doesn't mean they don't (or won't) exist. Remember, they probably have internet too, and you guys poking fun at them will be the first ones they come looking for.

Fair warning.

Back when I was a kid I saw a movie...'Zombies of Mora Tau (1957)' scared the crap out of me. ...but then I learned they were sort of imaginary
and only existed in stories, movies and now on this web site. Their computers will be wiped out too so never fear, they will just have to smell us
out and will probably starve as all they do is eat brains...which seem to be in short supply.

Don't be so sure, Morris. Even our government is now spending money to educate us on how to survive such a zombie apocalypse.

Cool find. But, it only operates off of 12v... I guess you hook it up to a converter or step down?

Thanks TJ...that was certainly educational. I am so glad our government has a sense of humor. Who knew?
