Air-conditioning option for those with 710K?

Gents,

Many forum members have mounted roof-top air-conditioning units on their 710k's.

Here is an alternative for those that are thinking of doing this upgrade;

TNJ Murray has NOS Humvee units. I would imagine they are 24V units.

Judging by the picture on the site, the unit seems much smaller than that one.

Basically a red dot system, at least this one is. Not sure about the one @ tnjmurray. Looks like a interesting puzzle.

Better off with the roof mounted Redot,easier as all is in one unit. That hummer a/c condenser will still have to be roof mounted anyway and a LOT of x-tra plumbing. Rooftop units only need 2 lines to and from compressor,that just leaves comp mount to fab-up. My Volvo and Pinz are using these w/o ant issues and the housings are tough!

Yeah, it's made by Red Dot. Don't know if you want that extra height, though. Also, my Red Dot unit was only $1500 (the unit itself, that is). This one is $2k.
