I like that one!
I have a 15" one for a VW but this one Dan is cool as h*!! and would work well for our trucks.
If you find a source please share!
Here is a picture of a VW one for refrance.

As long as you run out of fuel within 15 miles of a petrol station...

I figured you would put in spare oil containment in your new hollow rear bumper!
Left side: engine oil
Right side: gear oil

Re: Great idea - Round Jerry Can
I found the can online for $102.00 but couldn't find the Fitting Kit. Nice idea but the price is a bit steep.berger wrote:http://www.baby-benz.com/portal/index.p ... l&catid=15

ouch!
At least it is not this one for $1250

Where did you find it for $100?
Along the same lines but assume most have seen these:

That is one of the VW ones. Prices have gone up! Maybe I should sell mine for an oz of gold!

Re: Great idea - Round Jerry Can
personally I like Tim's rear bumper w/swing with two 5 gallon jerry can holder better http://www.swpinzgauer.org/message_boar ... 810024873a . one of our members came up with a great idea or using inside the spare tire area. He made a round plate, that acts as a hub cap if you will, and wraps his tow cable/straps inside. He can always get to the straps no matter which side he lays the truck on wish I had a picture of this mod. Will have to make sure and snap a couple next time he is out with us.

Why use a gas can for oil?
Don’t you keep your spare quarts under the floor?
