Most confusing winch bumper design so far

Build projects, things that guys have come up with to make a Pinz better (or worse?) and aftermarket add-ons.

It looks like it is designed to only recover the bumper!

Is it removable? Kinda looks that way....

Maybe so, when you have three men handy to take it off.

Gets my vote on originality...

Not so much on simplicity, saving on weight and maintaining the approach angle...

The winch looks to be mounted in an “easy” to handle removable mount with an adapter (the rusty part) that is fitted between the removable winch assembly and the Pinz nose ring. On the winch side the adapter has a female square receiver hitch opening and on the Pinz side it is designed to mate to the nose ring.

Looks like there is room for a cooler in there for the beer to refresh after lifting the winch.

I think you could mount a couple seats in there too along with that cooler. The ideal hunting/touring bumper. Hopefully all that insanity can be unbolted, that Pinz was really nice and factory restored.

Looks like one of my 1st generation winch guards but gone horribly wrong. I am at a loss for words. Where are the tool police when you need them?

I saw that truck at Thilo's a number of years ago and it didn't have that item at the time. The subsequent owner has introduced himself here on the forum since then so perhaps he (or she) will weigh in with some of the details on that.

The K doesn't have as bad of an issue with tail jacking due to the weight of the hard top. This one in particular has the complete interior done similarly to that Import project Vince has posted. With the addition of the airconditioning.
