How do you use the chain to keep the door open? ...or, do you not hold open your door?

Jeez Morris. Had to ask the tough question, didn't ya?

What a buzzkill.

I think it looks nice, but he does have a point.

Now somebody will have to invent a "door-holder-open" (there's probably a word in German for it) for people with spare tire covers.

I use a 2X4 jammed between the door and the frame. Not real elegant but it works.

Nice tire cover!

I only ask because I wanted to cover my spare but had a devil of a time trying to figure out how to use the chain and
I have a stop light in the center of the spare as well. I did have 33's on the pinz once and made a tire cover with a hole in the
center like a doughnut but gave it away when I got smaller tires. Have to make another when I get my sewing machine fixed.

It is a good looking cover just the same. Maybe put a MB star on it to confuse the tourists.

And with all the effort I've gone to convincing people to refer to my Pinz as ET (euro trash) and you come along labeling yours as FJ (foreign junk), foreign is ok however I just can't get into people referring to it as junk.

And yes, I do still own that CJ-5, so don't go giving me too hard of a time!

Wedging something between the hinges of a door is a quick way to tweak something

Obviously, you don't sell Pinzgauer hinges as well then, huh? No sane American salesman would ever offer up such practical advice regarding items for which he sells replacements.

I bet you're the first guy in line offering up free 2x4s to the places that don't already have your hardware. Nice!
