Hi-Lift 4XRAC Mounts

Post by berger »

I have read a few posts on the hi-lift mount guys have used on the noses of their Pinz's, and I just wanted to confirm if this was the part? Obviously drilling is required....

Wow, I just bought one of that very same mount kit yesterday. I plan to mount them on the placard plates on the nose of my "K". If it goes according to plan, no new holes will be required to be drilled into the body

I know ScottishPinz used the radio tube mount points on his 710K so no new holes drilled.

I know you have a 710M so not really the same just passing it on

GenevaPinz mounted his inside his 710M

I plan on using the same mounts as the tube holders, but I read elsewhere....4X4Pinz.,,had to drill the holes for the centre bolts, versus the side holes.

I'd gladly post pics if I can figure out how. I'm taking VGA sized .jpg's an when I try to upload any to a post, I get an "invalid" result.

The mounts I used which required drilling were the ones in the photo. They were old school Hi Lift jack mounts. Have not seem them for sale in a while.

I used nylon spacers, washers and a long bolt w wing nuts. Worked great. Used stock holes. All from Home Depot.

Are those your mounts?
I like that as it uses the tube mount bolts correct?

Mine is attached to the existing arial tube mounts on the front, but it is only the bar of the jack, the rest is stored inside.
