Trail Ready Beadlock Wheels
Here are some pics of the Beadlock wheels I am installing. They have 6" backspacing and are 17x8.5 so they stick out around 2.5" further than stock.

Don't need wheel steps with them out that far.

In those pictures the wheel is raised so it looks out on top more than it will be once lowered. Once I have them all done and mounted I will take better pics to show the stance, etc..

Re: Trail Ready Beadlock Wheels
Got the powder coated wheels in today with the anodized rings. I figured the contrast would be nice and the black anodizing will show abuse less than if I had the rings powder coated. It will be a few weeks before I get them all mounted as my tires will not be here for a week or so and I am still trying to find someone who can plate the rings bolts with olive drab chromate as yellow/gold is not going to work..

I look forward to seeing this truck in person when I make my run to the Pacific NW. It looks like its becoming a beautiful build. Nice work.

Re: Trail Ready Beadlock Wheels
What size tires are you going with?
Will be interested to see the stance once all mounted up

The powder coat really makes these wheels look good. Nice choice.

Re: Trail Ready Beadlock Wheels
I found someone to do the zinc plating on the bolts with olive drab chromate instead of yellow but it is $125 to strip them and coat them. The fee is the same for up to 100lbs of bolts so if anyone is interested in doing the same setup and would like to have green rather than yellow bolts for the lock rings let me know ASAP.

Re: Trail Ready Beadlock Wheels
How much if they just did the zinc plating for you?
I can get you enough OD chromate to make 2 gals for $50 and you just mix it and dip for 40 seconds

Re: Trail Ready Beadlock Wheels
I actually already bought that as well from Caswell lol. But I figured with needing to clean the parts then heat the chromate and dry the parts, etc correctly I would just have them do it and as far as I know it is not cheaper to have them just do the zinc. I think what I will do is have them do a bunch of other standard pinz size bolts at the same time. My truck will eventually be flat olive drab like the wheels so the olive drab chromate should match nice or at least a lot nicer than black or stainless bolts.

Re: Trail Ready Beadlock Wheels
Sounds good
I did not buy from them but similar. I am restoring my Hafi and while it is a lot of work i do find it fun to mechanically clean, chemically clean and then tin-zinc plate all my bolts and hardware. I am just doing a clear-blue chromate but that will be this coming spring.
It is kinda cool to take a dirty rusty bolt and make it look like new
Your bolts will look great on those rims.

Re: Trail Ready Beadlock Wheels
I considered buying a zinc plating kit and doing it all but really for $125 when I need almost 150 bolts and washers done just for the wheels seems worth it.
