PTO overdrive

Post by Jim Molloy »

Hello to all.
The subject of bolt-on accessory overdrive units attached the PTO port came up today on the Facebook Volvo C303 and TGB page. I know I had investigated this more than a decade ago and made no progress. I loaned a spare transmission and transfer case unit to Herm the Overdrive Guy outside of Vancouver, WA fro several weeks and he could not come up with a way of making the standard bolt-on overdrive units work. I no longer own a spare transmission and transfer case unit. If there is someone who would be willing to loan one to the cause, it would be greatly appreciated. Preferably located in the Pacific NW to keep shipping costs low.
Thanks for your consideration.

So do you have another company that wants to put time into it?

I recently saw some stuff this engineering firm did and it's top tier work. I heard they take on custom work and they have a ton of adapter knowledge.

Vince,
KEP is a very good option.
I will do some investigating and keep all informed.
Take care.
