Custom fuel filler

Post by Jim Molloy »

Vince,
I have spoken with Scott who recently sold one of the trucks you had so meticulously refurbished. Excellent work! He shared with me a variety of photos including several of the side mounted fuel filler system. I would like to perform the same conversion but driving/shipping my truck from the Pacific to the Atlantic and back for just that is not practical. I respect the fact that you did the original R&D for this very practical conversion and there is value to that as well. Is there any way I can purchase the components directly from you? Thanks.

Here are couple of links for gas tank fillers that should be what you are looking for.

Cliff,
Thanks for the links. I considered using the Jeep products but the ones used on the trucks Vince has worked on actually utilize Ford products. I have the Ford black bezel and a set of Ford filler pipes. I am lacking only one Ford part number and have another set of filler tubes coming from an eBay action. Once I have all the parts with the correct part numbers, I will post this to this site and the Volvo303 site on Yahoo.
