Caster angle

Post by 6099 »

Hello, first time posting. Need help. Putting 303 axles on a jeep.
Need to know:

1.What's the caster angle on the front axle?
2.Does the rear axle drop box run perpendicular to the ground?

I think 3 degrees positive caster is recommend, mine on the FJ80 are at 2 degrees positive caster. And yes on the rear.

That was a really quick reply. Thx! Yeah, I saw your FJ80 online. Real nice ride.

Anyway, the recommended 2 or 3 degrees caster is factory spec as in the original truck?

At 2 or 3 degree caster, is the pinion pointed up at a similar angle or is parallel to ground?

My axles are in pieces (disassembled due to storage space in house) so isn't convenient o put it together to check for the angles.
