I discovered that Volvo part number 1272107 (product number 236298-001, whatever that means) is a direct replacement for the brake fluid reservoir caps on my 1975 Volvo C303. Ordered two from my local Volvo dealer, and they fit perfectly! These are white in color rather than the original black (at least mine were black), but they come with the rubber gasket, and work great! Just in case anyone has a cracked cap, and has been looking for such a critter.
Incidentally, has anyone been keeping any sort of crossover list of parts for the C300 series Volvo? If not, I'd be glad to start one for all to use.

Nice work. There currently exists a nice crossover list on the Volvo C303 list on Yahoo that Vince started sometime back. Since parts for these trucks are not a readily available as many were lead to believe, these cross references become even more crucial.
Now if we could just get someone to publish a parts manual on a pdf, parts acquisition would likely become far easier. Take care.
