Hello

I did the same thing in the doors and it slows down the heat transfer. Just make sure your body panels are sealed properly. The two rust spots in my truck are from body seems that leaked.

Materials so far,
3 4x8 aluminum sheets
3 qts phosphoric acid
40 ft 1 1/2 square steel
1000 pop rivets
8 lbs mig wire
5 tubes of seam sealer
5 sheets 2' celotex
5 sheets 1' celotex
2 sheets plywood
8 cans rustoleum

Time involved..FOREVER according to my Wife! :lol: :lol:

Still to go,
interior trim,a/c unit,microwave,batteries,inverter,water tank,stereo system,lighting and I'm sure more as I can't seem to help myself! :D

Then I go to the chassis..... :)
