Having spent many years a structural mechanic for Boeing and Lockheed the photo of the studs spooks the s**t out of me.

 Could at least use tapered washers under the head.

I've been in touch with a nice chap in the UK who has a very nice solution using Landrover discs and calipers, and then landrover wheels.
That makes is all a bit more affordable for spares & wheels etc.
I'll post some more info soon.

Another disk brake conversion kit available - supposedly retains the use of the original wheels also. Not sure if the kit is complete or not. Also has other axle parts.

http://www.lehmann-ft.de/

Pricing seems fair (although not clear on what it includes) at about 1300 Euros for two axles (I think...)

A good find Haf-e, thanks it could be useful for other parts.
I read that as 1300 per axle, if thats the case its a little expensive.

I am looking at these guys now http://www.volvoaxles.com
Can use brembo and mercedes 5x112 wheels, or original wheels with smaller calipers.
