97 octane!!!!?

Post by bababiscuit »

hello...question...what is the story with the 97 octane rating on my '75 rig?...why would they have designed a military vehicle to run on the hi-test?...would've expected them to run on dog whizz if they had to... :?

They run on 89 stock in the US. You are seeing a RON rating (Eur/Jap), I believe. Whatever the case, 89-91 works.
