Oil Pump in C303 > ?

Post by blackbird939 »

Hello,

Almost done with my C303 rebuild. I accidentally left my oil pump in Purple degreaser overnight. It corroded the aluminum/magnesium body and produced some sandy corrosive residue. Pissed me off of course. Anyways...

Does the BODY of any B20 pump bolt into the B30 case? I see major differences with the spout/pickup for the sump, but the BODY seems to be interchangeable. Anybody?

Also, does anybody know if the standard prop shaft spider kits all over ebay will fit the C303?

THANKS! :P

Nobody knows?

Oh well, I will find out the $hard$ way and let y'all know if you can swap out the pump body. Mine works even though it looks a bit uglier than before.

You might ask Dennis at Linden Engineering. He should know.

Sorry Guys
Just had a mooch on this site.
Yes in fact they are all the same, available from Napa but you will have to change the suction pipe--its just pressed in anyway so some care needed to R'n R it.
Cheers Dennis
