4x4 button stuck - C303

Post by ranicotra »

Can anybody offer suggestions on how to get the 4 wheel drive button to pop back up ?

I have only owned the truck for a few days, and am completely new to how it operates. ( so, I'm hoping there's something basic I am not doing).

The previous owner said it hadn't happened before. It's now in 4 wheel drive, and the button remains depressed.

thanks,

Rick

It's a push-on-push-off switch. Maybe a shot of WD-40?

Thanks for the advice. I used both spray and talk therapy. It worked. Thanks again !

Out of curiosity, which worked--the spray or the talk?

LOL,

I began with regression therapy. Taking the button back to a time 37 years ago when it was a spry springy actuator. Next came the addition of meds, i.e. spray, and a breakthrough followed.
