Fuel Pressure Regulator

Post by thedoeges »

Hello,

I have successfully found a cheap alternative to replace my Filter King fuel pressure regulator insert. Piercemanifolds.com has the filters and the whole Malpassi Filter King assembly for a great price without having to import from overseas. However, now that I installed the new paper insert, I am not sure if the glass bowl is supposed to be always full with fuel when running the engine. Right now, the level inside drops, not all the way, but I can see it is not filled to the top, when I push on the accellerator. Has anybody ever watched the glass bowl and noticed if that's normal? Reason I am asking is, the truck stutters when accellerating.

Oh, yes, and has anybody a link to some detailed Pertronix ignition module installation instructions? I got water in the cap and took the pertronix out to clean, now I am having to put it back in and it runs rough.

Thanks as always for your input.
